This article is called Pilot (2009). Not to be confused with the later pilot.

Pinky Malinky is an animated short pilot for the series of the same name. It was developed by Cartoon Network Development Studio Europe, as it was intended to be a Cartoon Network animated series. Instead, Nickelodeon greenlighted the series for 20 episodes.

Reception[]

  • The pilot received mostly negative reviews from the audience for the plot and the characters being something like Disney's Pickle and Peanut and Breadwinners, while the animation, which was reminding shows like The Amazing World of Gumball, and the music were praised. Also, the voice of Ben Small doing Pinky Malinky was criticized, compared to the voice of Lucas Grabeel in the final series.
